Tabs not showing

There are many things that can prevent tabs from showing in the shop. If your tabs aren't showing, or suddenly stopped showing, try the suggestions below.

Enable tabs in the theme

If tabs are not enabled in the theme then they won't show in the shop.

To enable tabs in the theme:

  1. Follow the steps in the enable tabs in a theme article.

Re-enable tabs in the theme

If tabs are not showing in the shop after you have enabled tabs in the theme, then it's likely that the theme or another app has removed the tabs code from the theme files.

To re-enable tabs in the theme:

  1. Follow the steps in the disable tabs in a theme article.

  2. Follow the steps in the enable tabs in a theme article.

Scan theme files

If tabs are not showing in the shop after you have re-enabled tabs in the theme, then it's likely that the app wasn't able to find the standard product description code, so the tabs don't know where to show.

Scanning the theme files makes the app do a full search through all of the theme files for any code it thinks might be used for the proudct description.

To scan the theme files:

  1. From the main menu in the app, click Settings.

  2. Click Themes.

  3. Click Actions for theme that you want to scan.

  4. Click Scan theme.

Add the app code manually

If tabs are not showing in the shop after you have scanned the theme files, then it's likely that the app wasn't able to find any product description code, so the tabs don't know where to show.

Adding the app code manually tells the app exactly where to show the tabs.
